We are pleased to confirm the re-opening of our salon on Saturday 4th July. There will be new safeguards in place for our clients and team. Guided by our own values and the latest guidance from the UK Government and Public-Health England (PHE) we want to create an environment that is both safe and welcoming for our team and clients. We would like to share with you some of the ways we will do this.
•Hand sanitiser will be available at the reception
•A deep clean is currently underway in all areas of the salon
•Perspex screen will be installed at reception to ensure that the team and clients are protected
•Perspex Screens will be installed between seats at the backwashes
We are now taking bookings for the 4th July onwards. If for any reason the start date moves, appointments will be moved accordingly subject to the client’s acceptance.
In order to book an appointment, please TEXT, WHATSAPP, CALL us on 07470 144822. Alternatively, you can message us from our instagram, @nizamandteam. We politely request that you notify the salon at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
We will be extending our opening hours to accommodate our clients.
Over 65’s and Most Vulnerable
If clients are over 65 or vulnerable, we will do our best to accommodate them with the first appointment in the morning or last appointment in the evening wherever possible. If you are in this group and wish to take advantage of this option, please make it clear when you contact us.
Our Salon Experience
•In line with current guidelines, there will be no magazines. We have WIFI available for you. So, you can use your smartphone or tablet.
•For the time being, our waiting area will not be in use. So, please be on time for your appointment. If you are running late please call the salon. By the same token, we may be running a little late on occasion, so please bear with us if the Salon asks you to come in 10 minutes later than your scheduled appointment time, as we cannot have congestion in the salon.
•On arrival both client and staff temperatures will be taken with a contact free temperature gun as you enter the salon, if anyone shows any sign of fever (38°or above), they will be asked to leave and not return for 14 days.
•Our staff will be wearing masks, face shields and disposable aprons.
•The cloakroom will be available, but clients are advised to bring as little as possible with them to their appointment.
•Each client will be given a disposable gown.
•Clients will be asked to wear a face mask. If you do not have one, do not worry we can provide you one.
•We will limit and manage capacity in the salon to help support social distancing.
•We will be using disposable towels.
•Each station will be cleansed thoroughly between clients – as are hair tools – we are working closely with Barbicide® to ensure your safety.
•The salon will be cleaned with a disinfectant fogger on daily basis.
•For the time being, we will not be serving any hot drinks. There will be only cold bottled water available to help you with the hot summer days. You are welcome to bring your own preferred drink with you.
•Your bill will, where possible, be settled before the completion of your services, to avoid congestion at the desk.
We shall continue to monitor guidelines from the government, take action and will update you accordingly.
